Default KK played to perfection? PP15/30

Party Poker 15/30 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

UTG is terrible, calling caps with 98o and staying till the river w/ second pair. 60% vpip, 45% went to showdown

MP1 (loose fish) has decent preflop numbers but constantly goes to river w/ very little chance of winning

MP3/SB are loose passive preflop and postflop

CO is 2+2er PeterRus and has just posted in the CO

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

CO (2+2er) posts a blind of $15.

can somebody explain to me why this is a good play? i really dont understand the fold... the only thing that i can think of is that the hand converter messed up b/c it says that (2+2er) is the poster then it still refers to the hero who fold pocket kings... if thats right then i think he got pushed off of the best hand by AJ/QQ or something even worse like AK or TT.

I like the flop. Shutting down in order to raise the turn.

As to the river fold: I think what you know about him is less important than what you know about what he knows about you. If this isn't the case, then call. Otherwise, great fold.

definitely cap the flop,

These type of blanket statements without explanation really annoy me. Why is it so definite that he cap the flop? I acutally like the way he played the flop and the turn. So I don't annoy myself, I'll explain.

His opponents may easily have been getting a correct price to call two more cold on the flop. If so, they would certainly be getting a favorable price to call his turn bet. But by not taking his opponent out of the lead, he now gets to raise the turn where these same opponents (and draws), might no longer be getting the proper odds. And even when they are our hero is in better shape charging more money with only one more card to dodge. Anwyay, that's my explaination for why I like his play.

I hope he had JJ or AA. Looks like it. Either that or the loose caller (who looks like he is not going anywhere) had 85...Im assuming 2+2er would slow down with anything besides JJ or AA right?

I do like the turn raise to cut down on others odds (although I think Loose fish is coming with u regardless) -- Im hating 2+2ers three bet right now though.

Are you really going to 3-bet QQ after the preflop capper raises your turn bet?
