5/10 Trip Aces, check/fold?
5/10 6-max, no reads
I limp A3K9ss UTG, CO limps, SB limps, BB checks Flop AA7 Blinds check, I bet, CO+SB call, BB folds Turn 8s, two spades on board SB checks, am I still betting though it's likely no one is folding the case ace or a low here? Say I bet and both call, what's my river plan if I don't fill? |

Re: 5/10 Trip Aces, check/fold?
Burd,
At 5/10, I don't think you can afford to be tricky or passive with this hand, but becaause the SB is still in the hand....that's trouble because he could have a wider range of hands. I bet the river unimproved. You have the best kicker....unless a spade comes...then I go into check call mode with the cutoff. It wouldn't surprise me to see the CO turn over something like A 3 4 and you pick up the high side. Dave |

It's most likely both CO and SB are on low draws here. one of them may have the case ace, but if so, you have a king kicker. Very unlikely one of them has filled at this point. (Even unlikely that either has the case ace). [ QUOTE ] Say I bet and both call, what's my river plan if I don't fill? [/ QUOTE ] Probably check/call. Buzz |

Re: 5/10 Trip Aces, check/fold?
It's more unlikely that someone is full with the 7 on board than if it was lower, like 2,3, or 4.

Re: 5/10 Trip Aces, check/fold?
I think the river is a check call unless you fill. The case ace isn't folding, and there will probably be a backdoor straigt and or flush present on the riv. Fill, bet, UI, check call.
