Hero: $397 (CO) UTG: Covers me MP: $177 Hero is dealt 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG limps, MP raises to $12, Hero calls, SB folds, BB & UTG call Flop: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Pot: $50 BB bets $25, UTG calls, MP Calls, Hero raises to $100, BB folds, UTG and MP call Turn J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Pot: $375 UTG & MP check Hero pushes. Played right? Should I have raised more on the flop?

There is 125 in the pot when it gets to you on the flop and it is pretty clear that there are big spades out drawing very live against your low flush. I would raise to 150 here due to our vulnerability combined with the high probability we are best at the moment. Cut down those odds.
Turn is an obvious push, if you are against a higher flush you are going broke the way it played out. By the way, I muck this preflop.

By the way, I muck this preflop. [/ QUOTE ] Normally I do to. But in this situation, a limper, a smallish raise and the blinds, I figured at least 3 people would see the flop and I would prolly get the button. And I just like to play suited connectors every once in a while.
