Not his table, but that's his username. It's funny when he sits down at the lower limits how many '1.4s' and 'Rocks and Rings' etc. he gets. He'll never live those down. And that 'Poker Wave' he does on TV...ugh. Does he think he's Randy Moss or something?

Both games require a great deal of subtlety and attention to win, but in pretty different regards. If I can psychologize for a bit (having no actual knowledge of him or psychology) somehow I've always thought he was overcompensating for poor self-esteem by showing up other players, acting like a dolt, insulting their physical appearance, etc.. In limit hold'em, there is really no way to make a decent player look like a complete idiot; the "big bluff" isn't possible, elaborate traps just don't happen. In No-Limit though, you can "make moves" and win with absolutely nothing, making the other players embarrassed and feeling foolish. I bet he gets off on it and gives a jolt to his pseudo-self-esteem at the expense of others. And hey, his endeavor before poker was what? Magic. Fooling people, showing them up, and getting the best of them. Can't be a coincidence.

I think he's just an insecure little boy lashing out at the world, and something as mathematical and subtle as limit hold'em is lost on him, i.e., "retarted".

Anyway, the above is complete BS and I have no idea what I'm talking about, but it is convincing to me.

:-P

I hate to link to one of my posts, but this was a good one from way back in March.

A little too artsy, but you certainly got the gist of it.

Why are we even listening to him anyways? He won one tournament (and it wasn't the WSOP main event). Big deal.

He seems like a giant fish to me.

[/ QUOTE ]

He won a WPT (1.9m), a WSOP bracelet ($185k), as well as three other six-figure cashes. If you don't like him, fine. But clearly he has had a lot of success in tournaments.

(He's currently in the top 10 for the Cardplayer Player of the year award).

His girlfriend is supermodel-hot. He's obviously dysfunctional if the sight of her wrapped around his [censored] isnt enough to boost his ego, but when it comes to success, thats all that matters.
