Makin a play with the short stack
No particular read on the limper other than he had limped a couple of times in the last orbit. I had just put 150 of my 735 in the BB and was the short stack. Seeing just the limp in front of me I decided to see if I could steal.
Total number of players : 5 Seat 5: bond85111 (3670) Seat 6: RunninBear (1820) Seat 7: danthemanril (2220) Seat 8: Hero (735) Seat 9: mbmachine (1555) danthemanril posts small blind (75) Oculto posts big blind (150) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to Oculto [ 3h, Td ] mbmachine folds. bond85111 calls (150) RunninBear folds. danthemanril folds. Oculto raises (585) to 735 Oculto is all-In. Does anyone not like this? |

Re: Makin a play with the short stack
I think this is fine, though I often check and stab the flop (do that too much).

Perfect place for a stop-n-go.

Re: Makin a play with the short stack
Hmmm...hadn't considered that play, but I do like that. I'm not entirely clear on the whole stop-n-go thing. Would that be a proper stop-n-go? (Or is that only when you call a raise and then push on the flop where here I'm only checking first?)
