Default A8s from MP I might have screwed up every street

No read on villian at the time other than I hadn't noticed him do anything so I assumed he was playing pretty tightly.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 1 fold, Hero calls, 2 folds, Button calls, SB completes, BB checks.
I've been getting creamed with AXs in MP and yet I keep playing it. Anybody fold this or raise it?

Flop: (5 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, BB bets, UTG calls, Hero raises, Button folds, SB folds, BB calls, UTG calls.
With top pair and backdoor draw I assume this is standard? Right?

Turn: (5.50 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, BB raises, UTG folds, Hero calls.
I have top pair and picked up the nut flush draw easy bet here right? The checkraise has me thinking I'm certainly behind so I call.

River: (9.50 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero??....
I figure I'm either dead to a a set or just trumped his top pair. Am I ahead 55% of the time here?

At a typical loose-passive 2/4 I think the limp is fine. I call the river.

I think your play in the hand is fine.

I'm not sure what's best on the river. I think BB most likely has two pair or better (though a big ace can't be ruled out). And you beat most two-pair hands here. He could have a set instead, though, and hands like 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] can't be ruled out either.

I'd probably just call, because I wouldn't want to pay off a 3-bet (which I would probably do). Also, if you hadn't noticed much about BB, then he's quite likely a player whose turn checkraises really do mean a big hand.

Edit: And if his turn checkraise was a semi-bluff, well, he may have just made his hand.
