I would agree with your comments. Notice that I said "at least a higher kicker." So let's amend that. He doesn't have a higher kicker. But I still have alarms going off in my head on the way he played the flop, so I'm thinking he COULD have open-limped with 5-5, K-5, Q-5.

What DID he have?

I have a very basic idea of reverse implied odds but could you flesh this out for me a little more?
