How to record your own video

Download CamStudio. It's shareware with a 2 week trial. Options -> Video Options. Compressor should be on Microsoft Video 1 and "Auto Adjust" should be clicked under Framerates. We will eventually compress the video with XViD, but it's better to do it after recording is finished.

Region -> Fixed Region -> Mark a single table to record.

Use the record and pause buttons as needed. When you are finished, press the stop button and save to an AVI. It should be pretty huge, maybe 500 megs for 20 minutes or so.

Download VirtualDub, 32 bit edition. Run it and File -> Open video file -> choose your AVI.
Video -> Fast recompress mode.
Video -> Framerate -> Frame Rate Conversion -> Tick "Convert to fps" and enter "15" in the box. -> OK.
Video -> Compression -> XViD MPEG-4 Codec -> OK.
(If that option isn't there, install XViD.)
File -> Save as AVI -> Enter new file name -> OK.
It will take a few minutes to produce your final video.

I did all this things, but:
"Video -> Compression -> XViD MPEG-4 Codec -> OK.
(If that option isn't there, install XViD.)
"
Option wasn't there, so installed the XViD thing, option still isnt there. HELP!

Nevermind, downloaded some more stuff from the link, it works now.

Am I doing something wrong if the estimated compressing time is 7½ hour?

It takes a long time to compress, but I'm not sure if it should take 7 hours...how much video did you capture?

J5s- U need to raise somewhere vs this guy.

KK- I dont mind the turn raise, you prob have the best hand.

K9s UTG- Is this a standard UTG raise 5 handed? I noticed you folded A9o UTG later in the session. (I raise neither btw)

AJo in BB- Suuuper easy raise. You have 3 limpers, all with VPIP's over 60, need i say more

QJs in BB- Gotta raise this vs a loose button open-limper.

KQo- Why raise the river and not the turn? What would you do if he 3bet, out of interest?

32o- Im calling the flop raise and c/raise a safe turn card. Too many cards u dont want to see.

Apart from that i thought you played really well mate, hope u post some more sessions.

I raise K8s and A9o from the hijack (UTG 5-handed), but those are the worst hands of those types that I raise there. If I folded A9 in the highjack I probably misread my position and thought I was UTG 6-handed.

If I get 3bet on the turn I'm in the bad position of facing a very likely flush, and putting 3 bets in on the turn with only 4 outs. If I raise the river, I can safely fold to a 3bet. I rarely do this but I really think it was right here.

I think snag-it is better for recording desktop movies or maybe it's just what I'm used to. It also allows you to record just a section of the screen (so people can't see you D/Ling asian pr0n off camera).
