Default Semi-OT: Have a mathematical debate about buying the 2001FP Dell

I really want to get it. Currently I 6-table on my 1680x1050 laptop screen. My thought is put the 2001FP on a shelf above my laptop and 8-table between the two of them.

If I add 2 tables, maintaining a 17 % ROI at the 55s currently (probably unsustainable, but I have a decent enough sample size), that means it will take 24 hours before the extra two tables pay for it.

This is an easy decision, right?

I'd get the dell. It'll pay for itself quickly enough whether you hit 17% going forward or not. Plus no overlap is a good thing.

If I could get US prices I'd already have 4 dells. Unfortunately I gotta pay $1k for them over here.

Yeah I have 2 side by side and love them. Will be getting a new laptop in a couple months and another 2001FP so I can 8 table on that also.

Is plugging one of you other 2001fp's into your laptop too hard?

I have a 22" and 23" CRT and I paid about $280 TOTAL. No overlap 8 tabling.

Sadly I don't have room for a huge CRT on my desk :-(. To buy a bigger desk would cost just as much as a FP and take up more room, soooo...

I just caved and bought it!
