Default 22- A series of stupid questions #3 Small pairs mid levels

This is more of a general question...

I am having trouble figuring out what to do with small pairs in the middle stages (22-77) Blinds in the 25/50 to 100/200 stages. Typically 4-7 players left.

Early Position. Limping seems bad because someone will drop a steal on top of me and I will have to drop them. Raising - better? Doesn't seem right since I am a coinflip or worse. Folding seems to be the best option unless really shortstacked and then as a general rule all in preflop or stop and go?

Late Position: Generally raise for value if no one in yet, but what to do with limpers? What if blinds are unusually loose?

Are these the types of things SNGPT can really help with?

Thanks for any thoughts,

Scott

With 12-16BB I usually fold small pocket pairs in EP, and raise them up in late position. i think you have the right idea for the most part.
