Default Re: To those thinking about getting an Inspiron 9300 for multitabling

i just got my 9300 and i love it. check out www.edealinfo.com and some of the other online bargain places. I souped mine up just a touch and ended up paying around 1200 for it.

However, i do now wish i had just spent the extra 35BBs and got the xgen or whatever its called so i could say that my laptop had ground effects. But the 9300 really is fine.

peace

1. Internet

You would be hard pressed to find a new computer that couldn't handle all of this with power to spare. Unless you're playing a lot of PC games then anything that will run windows XP will meet your needs.

No need to double mouse for 8-tabling, the 9300 supports an external 1600x1200 monitor (e.g. 2001fp).

That's kind of what I figured...I have a higher-end computer for my work, so I don't really think I need anything special. I just want to be sure I get something that will be good for several years. No sense buying something that's too low on performance and having it useless in 2 years.

Of course, it does not seem like laptops have really progressed that much in the last 2 years either...

I'm still using a 3 year old computer with a 1G Athlon.
