Default Detroit/Windsor

So I send this e-mail to Casino Windsor today and ask if it's ever going to be worth my while to return. Apparently it is...

[ QUOTE ]
Thanks for your e-mail and for your interest in Casino Windsor. Casino Windsor will open a new poker room called "Poker Place" at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 11, 2005. Poker Place is located on the second level, between the Promenade Ballroom and the gaming floor, in the former meeting space known as the Boulevard Room.

Poker Place encompasses 3,000 square feet and features 10 tables offering Texas Hold'em, Omaha and Seven Card Stud. Table limits are varied starting from $3 to $6, up to unlimited amounts. This room is smoke-free and offers a cashier cage and cocktail service.

Yeah, it's been talked about here a bunch...

I haven't been to Windsor in awhile... but from that description would the location be as follows...

Coming up from the escalotors on the bottom floor... you would go to the left... and then right, all the way to the back where the doors are? I remember that area being just a big open space that had some pay phones in it... is that where the pokerroom is going to be?

i just saw some dumbass commercial for the windsor rooom on tv yesterday

i caught part of it though

--this is on the river -- looks similar to tilt

first player raises all in, next player calls, and i think another player calls, last player thinks and then calls --- with some stupid look on his face he then says "is four jacks a good hand" or something along that line

some [censored] like that

and then the windsor logo comes up and says the poker room will be open feb 11th with he, stud, omaha

cheers

They've got the floorplan on the web site. Your description sounds close. I'm going in two weeks to play.

Now it's only 10 tables? It was going to be 20 originally. Makes it almost certainly not worth the hassle of the border crossing, at least to me.
