Default Misplayed, but this guy was a maniac...what to do...

Okay, this was played just a few minutes ago. I had a really good feel for the table. $.25/.50 limit at UB. Had 3 guys that were on 2-3 tables (super tight), about 3 calling stations, a maniac, 2 weak players and myself.

Here's the hand (I'm on the button):

Flavaham: Th As
jobewon: -- --
FatBrown: -- --
scorpioboy_: -- --
Ky Straight: -- --
Damokles: -- --
cat_in_ct: -- --

Pre-flop:

scorpioboy_ calls.
Ky Straight folds.
Damokles folds.
cat_in_ct folds.
Flavaham calls.
jobewon calls.
FatBrown checks.

I thought about a loose raise here but two of these guys are tight multi-tablers so I thought limping might have been a better option.

Flop (board: 8d 6h 9d):

jobewon checks.
FatBrown checks.
scorpioboy_ checks.
Flavaham bets $.25.
jobewon calls.
FatBrown folds.
scorpioboy_ folds.

I bet here because no one had shown strength. Fatbrown and scorpioboy are both playing multiple tables and jobewon is the maniac. I know that at least two of these players are going to fold plus I have a gut shot and 2 overs for 10 outs. maniac might be on the flush draw so these might be a little bit liberal

Turn (board: 8d 6h 9d 3d):

jobewon checks.
Flavaham checks.

This card can't help me. It can however give him the flush. I know that he is prone to check-raise so I go to the river with a bunch of outs (if he doesn't have the flush that is...)

River (board: 8d 6h 9d 3d Qc):

jobewon checks.
Flavaham bets $.50.
jobewon raises to $1.
Flavaham folds.
jobewon is returned $.50
(uncalled).

After a check from him on the turn and river I figure a bet here is really the only play. When he reraised I figured he had slow played that flush and therefor I layed down. I think I made the right play but I'm not sure. What do you think?
Thanks,
-G

Looks fine up to the river, I'd just check behind here, you have Ace high and he could have anything, he's not likely to call you without some part of the board - also his play doesn't look very maniacal to me, more passive actually.

Also, get bisonbison's converter to make the hand history easier to read and remove names etc.
