Default QQ - the right amount of aggression?

Only a couple of orbits with Villan, and I haven't seen him do much. Did I not press enough, just right, or too much?

Check/raise the flop.

If you get 3bet, you've got 2 outs + some sketchy backdoor spades.

I like it. We got him beat here, unless he's playing a chicken!@#$ KK. NH.

AK13: The checkraise doesn't seem as good because we have UTG wedged inbetween feeding us money. Why not make him pay to come along for the ride instead of blasting him out of the water?

my problem with that is this:

with what hands does the typical unknown player cap preflop?

I think you have to fold to a raise on the turn or river since this imo means JJ QQ KK or AA. And QQ are very unlikely since you have 2 of them. I think you got beat by KK.

why isn't villian capping this flop then? It doesn't make much sense to me if he's got KK. And I don't think he's gonna slow down with AA.

*EDIT I know what you're saying here Tilt. But how else do we play this? I don't see how C/R and calling a 3-bet is going to put us in any better position here to put villian on KK or AA. Are we supposed to fold?

I'm unknown to Villan as well. This was my problem with this hand...neither of us knows squadoosh about the other, he capped preflop, and then slowed down to a bet/3-bet on the flop. Doesn't this look like WA/WB with KK?

haha, my 2nd orbit at a table and I'm dealt KK. I'm capping the flop and raising the turn if I'm bet into. I'll slow down to the 3-bet

*EDIT- Maybe this is Egoistic Fallacy, but with zilch known about the villian...this is how normal KK would be played here yes?

EF aside, put yourself in MP3's seat. You capped preflop and then got bet into and 3-bet by an unknown OOP Villan...what do you put him on?
