OK, I thought about it some more, and it seems that in these 6-max games, your opponents will be aggressive enough to bet the turn after raising the flop with both made hands and draws. This should mean we should be looking to call the flop and c/r the turn in situations similar to this hand, as a default play.
Edit: But hold on, what I wrote above is most applicable to HU play, where you can pretty much guarantee yourself an extra 0.5BB more. But in this hand example, not 3-betting the flop costs you a full BB when MP drops out on the turn. It seems like we have more reason for 3-betting right away the more opponents we have. Unless I have a guarantee that MP is willing to stick around to the river, I'd 3-bet the flop in this hand.
