JJ late in tourney
We are down to 15 from 300 players in a $5 tournament. Blinds are 1000-2000, the top 4 places are very close in stacksize aruond 105 000, the rest of the field have stacks below 50 000.
Both I and BB is in top 4, I raise to 6000 with JJ from UTG+1 folded to BB who calls. Flop comes 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] BB checks, I bet 12 000, BB raises to 40 000, I ??? |

Push and hope he doesn't have a set. [/ QUOTE ] I agree. This smells like and A9 situation or even pocket 10s. Or even a complete bluff. He might just think you're making a continuation bet with AQ etc. |

Re: JJ late in tourney
If you have to play jacks (which I hate playing), you have to play them aggressively in this situation. You're going down with them or winning big. Pushpushpush.
