Default 50r, call off a possible squeeze

I think this call is pretty standard? I probably should have folded to the UTG raise (it was by Colson10.) but i like playing my button etc. I think the possibility of a squeeze makes this a call. Tell me I'm wrong if not.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (9 handed) converter

Hero (t11055)
SB (t3085)
BB (t15820)
UTG (t8755)
UTG+1 (t3400)
MP1 (t6500)
MP2 (t11470)
MP3 (t5830)
CO (t21778)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to t600</font>, <font color="#666666">5 folds</font>, Hero calls t600, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to t3085</font> (all in), <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG folds, Hero calls t2485.

about 2500 to call into pot of 4500. thoughts?

Seems pretty standard to me. I think you are ahead of villians range here. People will dop this w/ KT, QJ etc. and your only in bad shape against qq,kk,aa

It's funny that you post this because since the Harrington books have come out I have seen a lot more squeeze play type action.

I have generally been calling with pocket pairs when I'm the PF caller, or pushing overtop if I have a PP and I'm the open-raiser.

Lots of trashy hands making this play, which kinda sucks because I like making that play with trash too, and I'm gonna start getting called more often.

You are getting the right price, and if you lose you still have lots of chips, autocall.

Regards,
Woodguy

I don't like calling a big reraise w/ AQ, it's a classic "trouble" hand. I fold here.

Sam

EDIT: Just saw that he's all in. In that case I don't mind it, given the pot odds that you're getting. I thought he had more behind.

Definitely, that book should be read if only to recognize what other players are doing.
