Default 2/4 SH on party & 1/2 on FT

I do not understand why when I look at party's 2/4 games I don't see any 6max and when I look at FT I don't see any 1/2 fixed. There are NL games going but no limit 6max. Why? (or am I retarded?)

Don't know about Party, I don't play there, but there are no 1/2 6max fixed tables on FT. They start at 2/4.

There are no $2/4 6-max tables at party, at least since I've played there. That's why I moved to PokerStars. I moved maybe 2 months ago, I'd be surprised if they added them that quickly.

I don't understand why they offer 1/2 skip 2/4 and then start again at 3/6. Do they want people to play on another website while they build their roll?

The 3/6 is a rather recent addition, as well. It used to be 1/2->5/10. People thought the 3/6 would f up the 5/10 game, but it didn't.

Personally, I don't think 1/2 -> 3/6 is a huge jump. Roll requirements for 3/6 is only a little bit bigger than 2/4.

It probably pushes some more fish to $3/6 though.

Because the majority of players don't care about building their roll, and will jump straight to 3/6 on their birthday, or when they're drunk, or on the second full moon Tuesday of an odd-numbered month?

Or because Party management doesn't have a sterling reputation for intelligence. Who knows is about the best I can come up with.
