Default $200nl - Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (10 handed) converter

Button ($215.90)
SB ($228.55)
BB ($206.45)
UTG ($101.31)
UTG+1 ($203.20)
UTG+2 ($510.05)
MP1 ($188.30)
MP2 ($206.25)
Hero ($214.75)
CO ($184.70)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, MP1 calls $2, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $8</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, SB calls $7, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP1 calls $6.

Flop: ($26) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, MP1 checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $25</font>, SB folds, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises to $50</font>, Hero calls $25.

Turn: ($126) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets $50</font>, Hero calls $50.

River: ($226) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets $80.3 (All-In)</font>, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $306.30

WTH does MP1 have? Should I have just pushed after he raised, or is a slowplay better here? And the turn is either push or fold and a call is terrible, right? Either way, I feel like I probably should have called on the river getting almost 1:3, but I couldn't think of a single hand he could have that I beat. Thinking back, it's very possible he had AJ too... I didn't factor that into my decision at all though.

Could've easily been a split pot.

I like to make the min raisers pay...

3bet the flop evvvvverrrry time. You are almost certainly getting action, but if a J or an A comes on the turn you'll be fcukd. Nobody lays down TT or KQ here.

I'd also call the river here. KJ seems very likely for your OPP.

3 bet the flop. Lots of scary cards on the turn can come out, and this flop easily gives villian a second best hand he could give you a lot of action with.

As is, call river. He could very well have a straight/trips and it's worth a call given the odds.

The thing about minraises at this level is people only usually do it when they love their hand. Just reraise the flop, he'll payoff almost every time, especially given the number of scare cards that can come on turn.

if theres one hand i almost never slowplay, its a broadway straight, way too many hands kill your action / outdraw you

against a reasonable opponent, push the flop after his minraise.

he check minraised you after you made a potsized bet in to a 3 way pot on that board. hes not trying to catch your continuation bet.

only time I call the flop raise is maybe if villain is crazy lag who'll push the turn with trash but not call my flop push.
