it's one of my favorite albums of the 90's, but I think Portishead's "Dummy" is some of the most "checkout" music ever recorded.

Why are you guys listing whole albums, or even lists of albums? You must be planning some slow suicides.

Anyway, I'd go with Cherub Rock by the Smashing Pumpkins, blasting at full volume on my iPod. Intense song, lyrics are even kind of appropriate. "Leeeeeet... let me ouuuut."
And I'd listen to it while jumping off a cliff. Yeah, I've thought about this too much.

Or anything else by Clint Mansell and the Kronos Quartet, for that matter. That stuff is intense as hell. I'm a fan.

Las Dos Torres Requiem Overture is the name of that theme song, according to whomever I downloaded it from. This may or may not be true. A beautifully spooky song either way.
