oh when i get this feeling

Out of curiousity, how often do you guys make feel based plays or get a feeling about someone's hand? I've been noticing it more and more lately. I don't know if it's based on click tells or what, but someone will make the same play they've made 5 times before in that session, but this time I'll be very sure it's a bluff or a big pair. In some of the HH's I've posted here, you can see examples of it.

yes, these all fall under "table reads".

I don't think you understand. I mean when that LAG openraises from the SB for the 10th time, this time you know he has a good hand. I view table reads as "this guy is a moron and gaybets draws."

Yeah, I do. I think it's based on click timing, but I'm not sure. I'm right, I'd guess, around 90% of the time.

I get a similar feeling. I don't try to explain it to anyone, because it's not logical and people who aren't talented enough to pick up on that sort of thing would never believe it's possible.

It's my only way of justifying crazy plays that I "just know" are going to work.

I'd be very leary about using click timing for reads. When I'm playing 3 or 4 tables at a time, sometimes it'll take me a little bit longer to raise a hand b/c I've got heavy action on the other tables I'm paying more attention too at the moment
