Man, I have enough trouble playing 6max without Isura there...damn. Anyway, if he was non-confrontational PF and a little passive, I think I can get away from this. Isnt one of the reasons for pot control is to get away from a hand if it goes sour? This is one of those cases.

why only a 3xBB pf raise?

[/ QUOTE ]

He had been folding to anything more in the SB vs BB controntations. And I raised to 4bb ($1 to go).

Not to get into semantics, but a raise TO 4bb is only a 3bb raise.

I think this is an easy call (especially since you have position).

There is too much chance he is betting a draw.

Re-evaluate based on what he bets and what the river is.

During the hand, I discounted the flush quite a bit. I constantly see players at this level check the turn with the made flush, and then lead the river when the preflop raiser checks behind. At this level, his turn line seems to be more in line with two pair or pair+flush draw. What do you guys think of pushing the turn? I called and called his $2 bet on the river when the 4th club hit. He had QJ for the 1 card flush.

Raising is incorrect if he has anything other than a FD (if he won't call with a naked jack, but will lead river if we cold call)

[/ QUOTE ]

Well that's what I think as I said before. If you can narrow him to a flush draw raise the turn. If stacks make the river awekward, push the turn.
