I got one late last night. I dont think it will count, since i didnt get register for the event. Either way, I sent support an email with the hand history.

I will be playing tonight anyway. Maybe I will catch one .

Any ideas on how many players this tournyment will have? Total prize pool is like 17K. EV of this thing could be questioned if you play a higher limit .

actually...it became a straight-flush that beat quads.....and I didn't even see that I had a st8-flush because I was stupidly posting on here and not taking advantage of my opportunity.

The problem with this promo is that if you're playing too much poker on Valentine's Day, the significant other might make your life -EV.

I only have a few more hours until this day turns from a poker-productive day into a Valentine's-with-the-sweetie day.

And I still can't catch a damn flush on my tables.

Oh yeah...and I just recently determined that I'm played Omaha-hi and not O/8. Amazingly I'm actually up a little bit.
Incredible what a little aggression can do for you....I'm betting strong with the nut-low and winning pots just by pushing out my opponent over and over. Weird experience.

I think you need to pay a bit more attention to your tables.

So you're pushing with the nut low in Omaha Hi and people are folding? Nice.

I'm playing the 5-max NL tables and my PFR is at 14%, yet still no one calls me.

[ QUOTE ]
How many ace high heart flushes can there be in a day, and out of that many, what percentage will even know of this promo?

[/ QUOTE ]

About 3% of all 7-card hands are flushes. So about .75% will be heart flushes. About 40% of flushes are ace-high. So it takes just over 300 hands on average to be dealt an ace-high heart flush in holdem or stud, not even considering Omaha with the extra cards.

Just about anyone who plays for a couple hours today will be entered in this. Who knows how many will show up to play when they see there are 10,000+ entries in this freeroll.

Almost 2K now going into the evening hours. Your estimate is probably pretty close.
