Yes, it's a bad beat story. I don't care. It made me want to smack someone, so instead, i am posting it here to get the love and support of the community at 2+2.

If anyone tells me I shouldn't have overcalled, I'm gonna GO OFF.

Clearly an awful beat, but one quick question: What did you think they had after your pot-sized flop bet was rereraised?

I won't tell you you shouldn't have overcalled. I just have a question. How'd the money get so deep? I've never been at any final table online anywhere ever where the leader had >200 BBs and almost 300 for that matter.

I was wondering this too. This tourney has deep stacks here and would be completely different than the MTT's I am used to.

I know you don't want to really discuss this hand much but that pre-flop raise seems a little on the small side doesn't it? I know it doesn't really matter much but it's a general question. I would have raised it more with all those limpers in front of me.

I was thinking that too, but with stack sizes this deep I think you need to wait to see some more cards before putting a lot of money in the pot. A big raise might pick up 1200 chips but thats nothing with stacks this big.

Considering the depth of the stacks, I agree with Mark here. If the stacks were that of a typical online final table, I like 1500. With these stacks, I think it should be in the 1800-2400 range.

Raised and re-raised... I'd be putting at least one of them on flopped set of 7's or trip 3's. It would have ben tough but you should have laid it down after all that action. Sorry about the bad beat.

BTW, if RthePud at seat 7 is the button, why weren't you the SB?

And why is lucky-7 at seat 5 with 0 getting to sit out?

Something fishy about this post?

If I'm in this situation with only one other player in the pot, I doubt I can get away from AA. But I'd find it hard to believe I had both players beaten in this situation. Hell, I thought one of them had quad 3s when I first looked at the action.
