Default Fine Young Geniuses

I was just listening to Jonny Lang’s “Lie to Me” cd and thinking. He was like 4 (actually 16, I think) when he recorded it. Folk like he and Joshua Bell, for example, and others like some of you on the forum (yes, David, I include you) are wiz kids (were kids at one time).

Any suggested good reading regarding “prodigies”; even why intellect differs among individuals at all (not limited to prodigies, although this is that much more interesting to me)? I am not so curious about “the how” and “that it differs”, relative to DNA I assume. But why the gene would differ at all from one of us to the next.

I believe Mensa has published some work on this. You can go to American Mensa and there should be a link to publications or "stuff for sale".
