Default There is a crazy player on perma-tilt that keeps on winning

i have been following this 'buddy' of mine around the tables and he is absolutely crazy.

He plays about 85% of his hands, regardless whether there were raises or not in front of him. And if there is no raise before him, he raises about 75% of the hands he plays.

He rarely folds the flop, in fact if he ever catches any part of flop he will raise or checkraise.

perfect recipe for a buddy right?

Well i do admit i myself have done quite alright off of him, but overall he has destroyed most of the tables i have seen hi play at, leaving a trail of seasoned players wondering what the hell just happened.

So he got lucky, it happens, it encourages such play in the future, right?

But i swear i have followed this guy around for over 3-4 weeks now, and its getting kind of long to chalk it up to a lucky streak. Sure he has had some big negative swings, but he has had numerous monster paydays at the tables which far outweigh the losses i have seen.

Could there be any kind of logical strategy to this seemingly madness?

It is 6max. It seems that because he is rarely out of pots and bets at them, he will usually clean up the pots that didnt hit anyone, and since its just 6 max, where pots are mostly just 2 or 3 way battles, that will happen alot.

Then there are the hands where someone holds AA or KK, but flop comes all rags, which hits this guy right where he needs it, and he scores a huge pot.

Then there are the times where he has a legit monster, and he gets massive action cuz no one puts him on it.

And then there are the suckouts, which he scores many since he calls to river often.

Yes he loses his fair share of pots, even very big ones....but somehow he manages to stay ahead of the game.

And on top of that, if you want to take him on he has an intimidation factor, cuz you gotta know he's likely to rais you and not go away so you gotta be very strong otherwise he puts doubt in your mind, so many back off.

Sounds ridiculus, but could there some long term sense to this?
