KTo in BB - turn an ugly second pair
Playing 5-10 (6max), currently five handed. Both opponents are very loose (VP=70) and passive.
Dealt K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in BB. UTG folds, CO limps, button folds, SB completes and hero checks. Flop (3 players) - T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB checks, hero checks and CO bets. SB calls and hero calls. Turn (3 players) - K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB checks and hero.. ? |

Re: KTo in BB - turn an ugly second pair
i would check. i think the extra value you get on the river by checking vs 1 pair hands is worth the value you miss on the turn when he has a flush draw. plus you lose less money when you are against a jack, since you will be either be ccalling 1 bet or betting 1 bet on the river, as opposed to be putting in at least 2 when you are beat.

[ QUOTE ] I bet the flop [/ QUOTE ] how come? [/ QUOTE ] If you are going to call a bet on the flop, betting yourself is better. You may have the best hand, they may all fold, you've got a gutshot and a BD flush draw. |
