[ QUOTE ] What do you guys make of him and his radio show on NPR? [/ QUOTE ] Lake Woebegone never did a thing for me. [/ QUOTE ] I have a fairly large portion of my family living in rural Minnesota, so I think his stuff is quite a kick. If you haven't lived in that area at all, it's easy not to get his jokes. |

Those mikes must be covered with saliva after each broadcast. What's the deal with that - talk softly and jam the mic in your mouth? |

What do you guys make of him and his radio show on NPR? [/ QUOTE ] My family listened to it when I was a kid for as far back as I can remember. I remember it being funnier than it is now. The regular sketches he does currently don't do much for me, and I preferred it when TNFLW had a clearer narrative to it. I still listen most weeks, but that's more of a sad commentary on my radio addiction than an endorsement of the show. This American Life has been the best thing on NPR for a while. scrub |

I don't think I expressed my hatred for Guy Noir strongly enough in my last post.

What do you guys make of him and his radio show on NPR? [/ QUOTE ] The pace of the show is too slow for me. I prefer isolated GK bits. |
