Default 88 unimproved HU (1/2 on stars)

PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
5 folds, Hero raises, 2 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3.25 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 6.25 BB

Vilain is 21.3/3.3/1.12 after 150 hands.
The question is: should I take a cheap showdown in these situations or betting the turn ? what if I'm holding 2 overcards ?
Thank you.

Nh.

With UI overs, i'm more inclined to check behind on the turn and possibly induce a bluff (while also taking another shot at my 6 outs). With a made hand, you have to bet again.

Also, i'm bad at this too, but after 150 hands you should really have something more to say about villain than his stats.

NH - i play the same way ... the pot is not big enough to justify putting in 2 more BB. You check through the river right? (save another 8)

I wouldn't give a free card on the turn you do have some fold equity by betting the turn again.

I'd fold it on the turn for 2 reasons
1) pot size is small
2) A raise on the turn with someone showing as much aggression as you have will often times not be a bluff.
