Worst Beats?
Biggest two cash game pots I ever played:
a) I flopped my set - out played a guy that I knew 100% had the overpair....all the money in the center on the turn...river? his set. b) I flopped a straight. Guy calls a re-re-raise with TP no kicker out of the blinds. When the turn comes HIS second pair he open pushes all-in. We all know what the river was. Right around then I realized I was playing too high for my bankroll because I was broke after a couple more of these similar spots. Maybe my worst beat: All-in preflop....ME: KK shortstack: K8s Flop: Literally NO help to shortie. Not even any running draws to be had. Running 8s ONLY possible way to win the hand. Turn: 8 River: Need I say it? Worst beat I ever gave someone: Me: 22 in the big blind Flop: 10 7 2. The flop betting action builds the pot up quite large and goes to the turn heads up with me concerned I'm beat. In fact, I'm actually planning on checking and folding the turn figuring the villian for a higher set. Turn: 2 Nice little one outer. (He showed 10 10 at showdown.) I've lost my AA vs. AK all-in preflop more often than won.... I don't really care about beats too much and these all happened quite a bit ago....but everyone one else was posting inthis new forum and I felt left out. How about you guys? Worst beats? (No lame ass ones that happen all the time)

[/ QUOTE ] Not trying to say these are worse...just joining in the 'beat club' ...I think my favorite one so far is the dual posting of losing/winning after the one guy flopped quads... Those posts help me feel better.
