Default Ladies..... ladies in reeeeeedddd.....

60.00 buy in live tourney from casino boat last night.

10000 starting chips, blind levels start at 100/200, pretty good structure. Villian #1(24K) is poker dealer, very knowledgable about the game and doubled early QQ vs. 99 on a rag flop.
Villian #2 (10K) hasn't showed anything or entered many pots. Seems pretty fishy.
Hero (14K) has only shown down AK and AQ to win small pots.

The Hand:
Blinds 300/500
Villian #1 (dealer) opens for 1500 from UTG, called by Villian #2, folds to HERO in the BB with Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

What's your action and why? Is this auto-push? Is this a big raise? What's your plan on the flop?

Results to come....

Any raise here basically commits you to the pot so push as you are not folding this hand.

Generally, I would call looking to check-raise all-in on a non ace/king flop.

If villain is solid his opening range is something like AA-TT/AK. If you push villain likely folds TT/JJ and gets it all in with the other hands. So by calling and seeing the flop you often get him to continue bet with hands like TT/JJ and a missed AK. You can then push and prevent him from drawing to his Ace/King or pot commit him as a serious under dog with a hand he'd have folded preflop. You can also save yourself from going broke if the flop obviously hit the hands in his range strongly.

So basically what is your plan to flat call and see a flop with two other players in the hand?? You need to reraise to drive caller out. Utg is likely to call no matter what. So if you reraise and not all in you have bled off 1/3 of your stack just to hope that no disgusting flop like J10x. Axx. KJx. etc. comes. I don't like a call here at all but I might be wrong.

raises to 5.7k. Calls a push. Pushes any flop with no A. Check/folds A-high flops and asks for a change of music.

I like it but I don't know if I check fold an Ace high flop as I might be able to make KK fold. But yeah I like ur line better than my tarzan one I think.

If AK or especially JJ calls, the push is fine. They do, so I do.

Yeah but they are saying their read is that they won't. So how does that change things? I definitely push if Ak and JJ call me but their read is different.
