Default Stars vs. Empire

In deciding which site to start my adventure into O8 poker, I've come to the final two. On one hand we have Stars. The pros of Stars are the $0.25/$0.5 limits, meaning my initial bankroll can be a bit smaller. Another pro is the big multitable tournaments. Also, i prefer the software, and the customer support is much better.

However, the only downside to Stars is the lack of rakeback. In fact in my books Stars is better than Empire in every aspect except the fact that Empire has rakeback. So, the question arises, how important is rakeback really?

Can I get by without rakeback, or is it as important to a player as Poker Tracker or SSHE?

This is just dumb. How much rake do you really think you're going to be paying at .25/.50?

Start off at stars, and as you play high limits then rakeback will become useful.

The rake is much less at Stars than Empire at low limits anyways. So if all things point you to Stars, try them first. Or hell, just do them both. Why not?

I found that O8 tables are tough to come by at Stars, so I just play over at Party.

Bullseye. The low limit O8 games at the Party skins are easy money for a decent player.
