right. its about image. against unknowns i probably cold call 3 instead of capping, as it will be difficult to call to showdown unimproved.

That question is a totally reasonable question for a novice player.

What stakes you play shouldn't matter as far as strategy is concerned. Congratulations that you are obviously an experienced winner, but there's no reason to belittle those who are trying to attain the level of expertise that you obviously already possess.

oh cmon, lighten up. It just seems that the majority of 2+2 consists of low limit guys. But you have to hand it to them for making the effort to get better. Just a little satire for you all.

when i first started playing online poker years ago on paradise i routinely lost buyin after buyin by playing obviously dominated hands like aq, kj, kq etc.

Its true. I'm only able to maintain my 6BB/100 because I can now fold AQ when its obvious the button open-raiser has AK.

One of the nice things about HUSH is that higher limit players take time to help out the lower limit guys instead of segregating them into MicroHUSH. I know I've always appreciated that, and the fact that people here generally go out of their way to make everyone who's trying to improve their game feel welcome.

Unless they're whining about their first "giant" 50 BB downswing [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
