There are long lines outside of the superdome. WHY ? Are they using metal detectors on each person as they enter ? WTF ? Come on, it's a hurricane. They said that to use the restroom once you are inside, you have to be escorted by the National Guard.

Apparently, they are only letting people with special medical needs in right now.

Which is more powerful, a Tsunami or a hurricane ?

[/ QUOTE ]

They are the same thing. Hurricanes are in the Atlantic and Eastern Pacific. Tsunamis are in the Western Pacific. Tsunamis have a tendency to get stronger; in fact, Typhoon Tip has the lowest pressure ever record at 870mb.

Katrina, which is now at 902mb, is the strongest hurricane ever in the GOM.

Same thing??? A tsunami is a form of tidal wave usually caused by the shifting of plates/earthquakes in open water... You may be thinking of typhoons?

well when you have how many ever people that will be staying in the dome, you kinda need to make sure that the operation will be safe throughout the hurricane.

Does it say how long until the strip joints and casinos will re-open after the hurricane ? Very important. Thanks.
