he seems more interested in showing off his multi-tabling capabilities than playing poker. hes playing sub-optimally at the wynn table since hes probably trying to play better at the online tables. if hes willing to go to this much trouble to 5-table hes better off playing 8 at home.

I just took a better look.

Is this guy playing 4 tables onine, on the cell phone AND delaying the game? I see a bet to his right, he seems to be talking on the phone and I'd guess he's up about $400 in the 15-30. This looks like a nightmare in need of a slap.

He isn't holding up the game; he has clearly folded his hand, I am sure right as this was snapped the dealer was about to muck it.

He has a system worked out with the dealers where if he doesn't have a chip on his cards, they are free to muck him at any time. Amazingly, he never slowed down the game once due with his multi-tasking.

I was playing $5-10 NL at the Wynn about a month ago and he was there playing at an empty table next to us, talking to a bunch of people playing in the game with me. He wasn't even playing in a live game, when asked why, he told everyone live games are too boring, he's use to 4-tabling. Blew my mind

THis is why there are so many reminders to protect your hand. It is standard to muck someone's cards when they dont' have a chip on them; dealers will try to avoid this if they have some reason to believe a player wants their cards, but at higher limits the players will normally cuss or just say nothing if a dealer tries to clarify if they want their cards.

actually the picture looks like he's UTG and the big blind is just to his left. it's possible that he hasn't even looked at his cards yet. but they are tucked together nicely.

And at Foxwoods, you can't even use a cell phone.

I shot video on my cellphone of Gonores' legeondary mantis style at the Wynn... as soon as I can get it converted, I'll post

I don't think video would do it justice...its an experience all its own.

On that note, I'm surprised he busted it out at a $15/30 at the Wynn. I thought it was reserved solely for drunken chip-spewing!

$15/30 is probably a chip-spewable level for gonores.

Holy cow, any self-respecting floorman would have NEVER allowed this, what the ????

And why not? Its easy to say because its against the rules, but I don't see anything that would compromise there game considering his actions.I had no problem with it at all, neither did any of his opponents... including the super fish who got a kick out of playing with an Internet pro at the same table.

Well if he has a laptop running I don't see what is to stop him from running programs to help him with the live game going at the moment. I can think of all kinds of advantages that someone creative with a laptop could have. Personally I would use a usb camera on the laptop and photograph my opponents, keeping logs on all of their actions and tendencies.

If you think that the above would be unfair or disadvantageous to the game, than surely you must agree that if you let someone use a laptop, it would be impracitcal for the floorman to have the responsibility of checking over everyone's laptops assuring legitamacy.
