Would you raise or call this draw vs. unknowns?
New table, seems pretty loose, but no personal info after 5 hands:
Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 2 folds, UTG+2 calls, 1 fold, Hero calls, MP3 calls, 2 folds, SB raises, 1 fold, UTG+2 calls, Hero calls, MP3 calls. Flop: (9 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players) SB bets, UTG+2 folds, Hero ? Would you call and get a better chance of MP3 staying in/avoid a fold and reraise, or raise and possibly get a free card? |

Re: Would you raise or call this draw vs. unknowns?
I would raise.
I want to win if I catch an 8 or 9. If people call that's okay too. If there were more overcards on the board, or if you knew the SB wouldn't raise pre-flop without a big pair, calling seems fine. As it is though, I think you need to do everything you can at this point to try to sweeten your chances. |
