Anyone else anxiously awaiting this sequel?

Underworld Sequel

Not me, I thought the first one was a huge letdown. How many times did that old vampire shout, "Leave us!" or "Silence!" I'm putting it close to double digits.

But this is exactly what old vampires do.

I'll watch the second one. The actress chick in it gives me wood.

I liked the first one, though I did think it had its flaws. I thought they could have fleshed out the whole vampire culture a bit better, social customs, how they fed, how their hierarchy came to be, that sort of thing. They did a better job with the werewolves. Maybe the sequel will address some of that.

Of course, I'll watch almost any piece of crap where someone sprouts fangs and drinks blood, so I'm a bit biased, plus I think Kate Beckinsale is FINE. I actually sat through half of Van Helsing just to look at her.

I haven't looked too much into the sequel, besides looking at the web page a few months back...looks promising, I'll wait for the movie itself before passing judgment.

Anyone arguing the merits of the first movie beyond, simply, "It was a trendy horror/action movie with freaky creatures and lots of killing and [censored], and besides that, I would have unlubricated anal sex with the entire British Navy just to sniff Kate Beckinsale's panties," is overstepping the bounds of the case.

However, those merits alone made it a fun movie, and I will see this next one too.
