Default Bad beat

There's a certain type of bread that I like to buy. It comes in several varieties, all of which are 100% whole wheat! Well, that's pretty good!

However, within the harmless-looking packaging resides a dreadful injustice. THERE ARE AN ODD NUMBER OF SLICES.

WHY

Pretty weak, you can do a lot with one slice of bread.

Also, did you count them all right when you opened it or did you just get down to 1 slice and realize it? Maybe you bad beated yourself.

No, I'm sure they all come in an odd number of slices. I have purchased and eaten somewhere in the range of 7-10 loaves so far, and I always use two slices at a time. Double-layer sandwiches are lame, and so is having one piece of toast.

if they were so lame why would you see them at established fast food franchises like that one place

you could also use the leftover piece after toasting it as sandpaper

Yeah, because "McDonald's" and "lame" are entirely separate concepts, right?
