How to become profitable in different types of tables

Just wanted to get a feel as to which type of tables are most protifable for you guys at the $0.5/$1 level.

For me it seems to consistently be ones with

1) avg pot of $8 to $9

2) flop % of 70% +/- 5%

Which seems to be the LPP (Passive with a capital P) type tables.

Is this what seems to work for you guys too?

Tables with Flop % around 50% is usually too tight for me even if avg pot is $8-$9 (usually TAGs)

Flop % of 70% with large avg pots of $10-$12 are usually agro maniacs and I can't seem to get profitable with these guys (not as easy as the $8, 70% tables. Although in theory if I play right my payoff should be higher with juiced pots. The problem is I underestimate the maniacs and end up losing a monster pot here and there.
