Default Best Straddle Ever (Little/No Actual Content)

Live 1-2. I'm in a gambling mood and have been playing "straddle & blow out any limpers" regularly. Nobody seems to be amused by it except me.

I straddle. 7 limpers to me. I peek down and see aces. Hee hee. I make it 40 more to go and get 5 (count 'em: 5) callers. Then, I move in the rest (~150) blind.

Result: I get out flopped by KJo and lose a pretty large pot. Whoops. I toke the dealer a buck when he tells me he won't deal me aces anymore.

Why did you move in blind?

1) Big Pot.

2) Small stack.

3) Why not?

I had absolutely no problem getting action that night and just thought this hand was funny for some reason. Nothing like picking up aces in the straddle, playing them fast as if I'm just messing around with garbage, and losing anyways. No need for any serious thoughts/replies here, just thought I'd share.

I like the move in blind. What flop does he check-fold to with these pot odds?

the blind moev all in on the flop means you obviously have a hand, since so many people called. i do not like it.

I don't know - I think the move in blind isn't a bad play - makes it look like he might just be gambling, and charge any draws from the 5 callers the max!

What about when he flops a huge hand? Seems like he could be losing money when he hits his set, and no one calls because the all in bet scared them away.

If I by some stroke of God flop a set, with 5 callers it is very likely that the case ace is out there and they will pay me off because they think I'm a maniac. Plus, this pot is big enough and worth winning as is.

I check-fold to very few flops here.

Plus, I like keeping up appearances that I'm a maniac if I can help it.

If someone made this play, I'd put them on AA and I'd be pretty sure about it too.

If it's a gambling, revved up table, I could see an AK type hand doing this...
