[censored]: what's up with all these wrestling posts? Questioning your sexuality?

[/ QUOTE ]

You've probably never seen a 5* match.

[/ QUOTE ]

Agreed, go watch any Misawa vs. Kawada match or Super J Cup 94 and than try and tell me your not a wrestling fan.

[/ QUOTE ]

YES, YES, YES, you are a man who knows what's up. I prefer the Misawa/Kobashi matches personally, but, I will never have a problem watching dangerousK do his thing

[/ QUOTE ]

Has there ever been an english dubbed commentary version of these matches made?

this is pretty awesome

my first 4 matches from the 1980's section

Andre the Giant vs. Hulk Hogan
August 9, 1980
Many people do not realize that Hogan and Andre the Giant actually squared off before their WrestleMania III classic. This match, which took place outdoors at Shea Stadium, sees a young Hogan [managed by Freddie Blassie] bloody Andre the Giant.

Not a great match work rate but awesome from a historical perspective, very cool to see a young Hogan and Young Andge ****

WCW Clash of the Champions - Dusty Rhodes & Road Warriors vs. Powers of Pain & Ivan Koloff
March 27, 1988
This was the first ever Clash of the Champions, and these two sides couldn't settle their differences in any ordinary match. Instead, this match was a Barbed Wire Street Fight. In the weeks leading up to the match, the Powers of Pain and Koloff brutally attacked Animal and even dropped a barbell on his face. Could Animal and his team get revenge or would the Powers of Pain and Koloff get the last laugh?

very tame by current standards of brutality. should have been so much better **

Chi-Town Rumble - Ricky Steamboat vs. Ric Flair
February 20, 1989
The Ricky Steamboat vs. Ric Flair rivalry is remembered as one of the most technically sound rivalries in sports-entertainment history. Flair walked in as the champion, but would he walk out as the champ? The two went back and forth with each other, putting on a wrestling clinic. Flair was able to lock in his patented Figure Four Leglock, but would Steamboat submit?

Flair vs. Steamboat - it doesnt get much better ****

Music City Showdown - Ricky Steamboat vs. Ric Flair
July 5, 1989
This match is considered by many to be the best WCW match ever, and one of the best matches in sports entertainment history. This was the second meeting between Steamboat and Flair, with Steamboat winning the WCW Championship in their first match. The two had a lot to live up to, but they somehow topped their previous match. Was Flair able to walk away with his sixth Championship, or would Steamboat go 2-2 against the Nature Boy?

one of the greatest matches of all time *****
