Default My first live Omaha realization (n/c)

While profitable, Omaha would be much more fun if it weren't played, primarily, by cranky old people.

That was one of my main takeaways too. Also that they are calling stations and play badly, but that’s no different than the holdem games I play there too.

Oh, where I play they're populated by jocular old people.

The cranky old people can be found at the stud tables.

We have neither stud nor razz, so they've been forced to Omaha.

A friend of mine who is a very good O8 player summed it up for me:
It's a great game that's quite easy to beat in spite of the fact that it attracts the most miserable people on earth.
