Default First time playing PLHL

Sorry im a Omaha noob, can anyone reccomend some good PLO books??

Also, playing a table at PP.....
super weak table, i can limp alsmot any hand
3 to flush out there, I have nut straight (high)
pot bet by the button, anyone play this?

How many people are still in the hand. Nut straights sure look pretty, but unless this is heads up...and you are last to act to close the betting...and it didn't look like your opponent was on a flush draw...then I wouldn't call with a straight to a flush board.

Maybe it's just me...but it rarely works.

How did the flush get there? Were there two cards to the flush on the flop? If so then someone might hang around for another card or two with a second best low as long as they have a flush draw as well.

These are important considerations.

Don't know about the PL books.

Wow - your missing a lot of info.

Is this PLO? or PLO8?

What were the bets on the flop/turn? How did your straight make it? how did his flush make it? what's your read on him? Who is still left to act after you? how many saw this river?

There are times when I will call a straight here, and times when I will fold one, but there are a lot, and I mean lot of variables you left out.
