Default 2 under-boat hands.

I actually played these two hands at the same time on different tables. A very sweaty 30 seconds it was. I won 1 hand and lost the other. Can you guess which? Also, comment on both hands please.

Hand 1, No read on villian.

PPNL50 Full ring.

Pre-flop:

UTG limps, hero (covers) limps UTG+1 w/ 3 3, UTG+1 limps, MP1 limps, MP2 (villian) checks as poster, MP3 folds, CO limps, button folds, SB completes, BB checks,

Flop ($3:50) 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (7 players)

checked to hero, hero bets $4, villian and SB calls,

Turn ($15) 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)

SB checks, hero bets $10, villian min.raises to $20, Sb folds, DECISION TIME , Hero raises to $35 (mis-click, meant to put him in)

River ($85) A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)

Hero puts villian in for $10:50, villian calls.

Thoughts?

Hand 2
Villian (covers) is 12/3 after 300 hands. Good post-flop agression though. Hero ($63) is MP w/ 2 2.

Pre-flop

UTG limps, hero limps, BB checks

Flop ($1:75) A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

SB checks, UTG checks, hero bets 2, SB makes it $5, UTG folds, hero calls.

Turn ($11) 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

SB checks, hero smells something fishy and checks behind.

River ($11) 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

SB bets $4, hero makes it $9, SB makes it $14, hero calls

Thoughts?

Which one did I win?

Hand 1: Goot if you put him in on the turn as you planed to.

Hand 2: I'm betting the turn and going down in flames with this hand. He might as well have the wheel.

Your play in hand 2 is odd. If you think you're behind, given the check through on the turn to keep the pot small, why raise the river? Nothing changed.

I know my play on hand 2 is inconsistent. His turn check got me very suspicious and I smelled A 5, but then he bet so weakly on the river (1/3) I figured I might very well have misread him and that I could milk A X with a small raise. If he had bet more (even like 1/2-pot+), I would just have called). After his river re-raise, I'm positive I'm beat, but I'm not folding for $5 more in the pot of $35.

Not good?
