Re: How do you play your sets in 2/4 6 handed NL?
I bet the flop a lot of the time, which makes the turn an awesome card. As you played it, the push over top of his checkraise is not good. Raising the turn is ok too.

I generally prefer not to call weak bets and then get all of my money into a tiny pot on the river once all of the draws hit.

I raise the turn pretty hard. And I certainly dont call the check-raise on the river.

The guy had KQ of spades and he stacked me off...He had exactly what I thought he did, two pair Ks and Qs initially but he obviously improved into the nut flush. I smooth called the turn intending to raise him on the river because I was fairly sure where he was at. He was first to act after the flop and checked then bet prety substantially on the turn when I made my set. I think if I raised the turn all the money would have went in there anyway and I would have gotten rivered. But I do feel a little sick for putting all my money in when all the draws did in fact hit the river. Very stubborn of me...
