Default middle pair unimproved

i c/c the flop because i was going on SSHE's advice regarding change in equity from flop to turn. i'm just not sure about my play though overall here.

Party Poker 0.50/1.00 Hold'em (6 handed) link

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 folds, CO calls, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (4.00 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, CO checks, Button bets, SB calls, Hero calls, CO folds.

Turn: (3.50 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, SB calls.

River: (6.50 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, Button bets, SB calls, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 9.50 BB.

give reads
bet the flop
dont overcall the river

and if your reasoning for check calling the flop is because of the drastic equity change from flop-->turn, explain why you bet one of the worst possible turn cards for your hand.

I like betting the flop unless button specifically is aggro in which case you want to check raise to drive CO out.

C/r to drive out CO, and trap SB? I'd much rather lead and prevent any check through. TP3K is definitely worth a bet here. Even a single bet does a lot to protect your hand in this small pot.

do you think a flop bet is folding anyone? flop seems ooordinated enough and these tables are usually loose overall.
