What should I have done? Please help

I had just taken a Bad Beat, so I know I did not play this correctly, what should I have done?
I was on the button and everyone folded to me.
Had J10Suited, I raised to $2.(Should I have raised to $3?)
The Small and Big Blind both call.
Flop-J,8,10-Rainbow
Player first to act beats $4(known to bluff very often)
Next player(Big Blind,known as a good player) Made it $18. I figured the big blind may be bluffing because he had seen so many bluffs by the previous player.
I went all in.(now thinking about it stupid)
Small blind folds, Big Blind Calls w/ (Q 8offsuit) I lose the pot to a straight.
Please help, should I have reraised to something like $36 rather than going all in for my $100? Or should I have thrown away top two pair? And if He reraised me all in after I bet something like $36 would that be an easy fold for you? Thank you so much!
