I agree, I told her just to make the 8/16 game a 9/18 and use them in the Omaha game. Just leave the $2 chips for rake.

Although it's slightly confusing for both dealers and players, I think this game could be really good. A dealer I know who works there says the players have little concept of money in this game, it's just "chips" and that's made it quite insane, at least as she's seen it from dealing it.

I was at the Wynn the first weekend that they started playing this game. It was very difficult for people, but I found it to be quite entertaining. I was there all night playing this game and eventually had the chance to talk to the creator of it, some floor manager type person. I forget what the actual reason was for her to suggest this strange new game, but she was actually the one who suggested the betting in chips thing. After she told us to our table, everyone started saying "I bet 5 chips" etc, so this could be why people are saying "I bet 20" and are forgetting the chips part. Either way, I like it. With my current bankroll I don't really want to play 2/5 NL and 1/2 NL is relatively low, so anything inbetween is welcomed.
