I want to love Absolute, I really do. And I've tried. But to me Absolute is an ugly woman with a killer body. You want to love her because of the body, but you just can't get by the face. And the ugly face of Absolute is the clunke software - it is just brutal, and I just can't get past it.

[/ QUOTE ]

For future ref: paper bags, flags, and light switchs all work to hide the face.

For Absolute, you just have to be a whore and deal with it. I open other sites to fill in the dead time. Now that I think about it, I could probably 3 table Absolute and 3 table someplace else without too much hassle. Yes, it is THAT slow, any less than 3 tables and it's like 1 tabling a quick table.

Absolute Poker is really beginning to worry Party I think. As the numbers grow at Absolute and players are becoming aware of the constant reloads and available legal rakeback which can be used together with no penalty, Party is having a hard time eliminating their monthly reloads as they wish to.

Pleeease send me some of what you smoked before posting this.

Did you read the big thread on Party's profits? $391 million last year. Absolute offers more bonuses than anyone here can clear and their total REVENUE isn't a third of that. The only site capable of worrying Party is Stars.

He (the AP promo guy) suggested that I just create a new account under my affiliate. He agreed to close my current account and even gave me some cash (in the new account) for the AP points I earn on my old account.
Point of this long story....

It doesn't hurt to ask if it will be ok to close your account and open up a new one. Based on my experience, I'm sure they will go for it.

[/ QUOTE ]

I tried this and to my amazement a CS manager wrote me back and said. "Go for it, but clear your pending bonuses first."
He told me to email him when I was ready and he would help me facilitate the new account.

Don't waste your time clearing the bonus. You get the $550 bonus when you open the new account. One thing to know you MUST use a new email account. Tech support doesn't know this.

I sat down after spending 4 days trying to clear $350 and missing the weekend bonus (so I could clear it) and realized I wasn't losing any bonus, but I was losing the rakeback.

Absolute's CS is so such a change from Party I keep looking for the catch.

Default Just a side note about absolute

I was talking to one of my friends about this, I think i would play for their bonuses more if you earned it all at one time like on the party skins, I realize it's still the same amount of $$, but I like working toward that final payoff, not $10 at a time.

This makes me more apt to play on Absolute, since if I hate it I won't feel like I've wasted my time since I'll still have 30-40 in bonus money.
