Default Pushing with K8s utg with 6 people left.

$10+1

Lv5(75/150), I have T510 and utg and get K8s, there is 5 other people. SB and BB have 2k and 3k each. Everyone else has between 800~1000 (give or take 100).

I pushed and got called by a 1000 guy with AQ and lost the 40/60. My question is:

Is this a standard push? Or should I fold this and hope that my BB hand is better? or that sb will fold to me (he has done once before when it was 50/100 blinds when I had the same stack)? Or hope that my hand will be better than sb's hand if it gets folded to him and he pushes and I have to call? Or call any push/raise in the next hand?

Which is the best play?

I think folding is standard, though at a tight table I may push.

Well, it's tough to say. Since you have 3.5 BBs and are screwed since you're UTG, I go for it. Plus it doesn't look like a "steal" (If you can even call it that with your stack).

I'd make this play 75% of the time, at least.

But is it mathmatically (sp?) the right play?

am I missing something? Isn't this an autopush? You lose all FE if you fold and you have a decent hand.

It's mostly a push because you are F'd pretty much no matter what.

In this case I think it helps that the big stacks are in the blinds. It makes it less likely that someone in between is going to want to play.

Did you not read where I said that sb had folded to me in bb just 1 orbit earlier? Also FE isn't everying. Am I F'ed? yes. But is this the correct play due to math? What if the 800~1000 person ie in sb and button when i'm bb?

With how few chips you have, you're basically looking for the best hand you think you're gonna get before the blinds hit you. K8s seems reasonable.
